The finest sports surfaces

Our most popular tennis court surfaces are

  • TENNITEX
  • TEXPLAY II
  • TENNITURF
  • SAVANNA
  • OMNICLAY
  • MATCHPLAY

TENNITEX
Tennitex is an acrylic painted porous Macadam tennis court that plays at a medium pace. But just what makes the Tennitex court such a universally popular surface with users in every sector of the sport - ranging from tennis clubs through to homeowners, educational establishments and beyond? The answer is in the way your Tennitex court is designed and constructed, the way we at Anglia and Midland take care of so many often overlooked yet vital details of tennis court design and - above all - in the way it plays.

TEXPLAY II
Texplay II is a polypropylene Macadam court that provides a similarly paced surface to Tennitex but offers better grip when damp and more effective cushioning. Texplay II has permanent inlaid lines and factory made joints that are guaranteed for the life of the surface. It is a good choice for experienced players and beginners. All this with installation time cut to a bare minimum and maintenance as simple as Tennitex. TexPlay II is ideal for multi-use installations.

TENNITURF
Tenniturf is a medium to fast synthetic grass tennis court that is ideally suited to the serve and volley tennis player. The tennis court's pace can be adjusted by variation of the quantity of its sand infill and the length of the tufts. We bring all our high-quality consultancy, design and construction skills to Tenniturf tennis courts. Subject to a site survey, it can also be laid on a suitable existing macadam surface and naturally, we will be delighted to advise you.

SAVANNA
Savanna is a soft, dense texturised polyethylene monofilament with narrow blades, encasing a sand dressing. The result is a playing surface with a medium/medium-fast paced ITF rating. Savanna offers a number of benefits. Its structure keeps the sand content away from players to a much greater degree than on a Tenniturf court. It is more evenly paced than Tenniturf and defrosts more quickly.

OMNICLAY
Omniclay
is the ITF-approved, British manufactured, clay style performance tennis surface that looks and plays just like a traditional clay surface. Just like clay it offers a slow to medium surface speed with a ball bounce similar to a traditional clay court. The sand-dressed surface looks and performs like clay - but has a much lower maintenance cost than clay. Omniclay's engineered porosity systems allows all-year round usage, maximising playing time - a real benefit for clubs, schools and sports centres. Courts can be supplied with inlaid lines, which removes the need for tape lines and reduces maintenance costs.

MATCHPLAY
Matchplay
is the newest addition to our range. Matchplay courts provide true ball bounce for all levels of playing skill. The excellent ball pace, slip and sliding properties provide a perfect surface on which to play, combined with superior wear resistance. Their excellent UV weather resistant properties make a perfect court for indoor and outdoor use. The high performance, seamless surfaces of Herculan tennis systems are non-porous, and therefore hygienic and easy to clean.
