Sporturf - the top performing sports all-rounder

Sporturf mugaSporturf is a truly multi-purpose surface. We have installed Sporturf surfaces that have been used just for tennis, basketball, netball, five-a-side football, bowls, hockey or cricket. Sporturf benefits from a lower level of maintenance because of its low surface to sand ratio. Play takes place on the product's fibre and not on the sand. It’s ideal for tennis court and multi-purpose area upgrades. The surface can be installed over existing porous surfaces that normally need to be resurfaced prior to the installation of a new sports carpet.

Sporturf can be considered as a synthetic macadam. Its even, medium pace makes it ideal for coaching, family tennis and competitions. It plays like the very best macadam and grips while damp. Play lines remain prominent throughout the life of the Sporturf surface. Sporturf is available in green and terracotta finishes and we are able to offer two-tone court or games area installations. Please feel free to contact us to discuss these possibilities.

Maintaining a Sporturf court

After an initial setting period, Sporturf requires a lower level of maintenance compared to the traditional sand filled sports carpet. The surface should be kept free of debris, and should be swept on a regular basis, to maintain the sand within the surface at consistent levels. Weed and moss killing operations should be undertaken on a regular basis in order to maintain the optimum playing characteristics of a Sporturf surface.
