SURFACE FOR PURISTS
Tenniturf is a medium to fast court - which the purist will favour - pace can be adjusted by variation of the quantity of its sand infill and length of the tufts. We bring all our high quality consultancy, design and construction skills to Tenniturf courts. Subject to a site survey, it can also be laid on a suitable existing macadam surface and naturally, we will be delighted to advise you.
TRUE QUALITY
To reproduce by synthetic means something approaching a lawn tennis surface, we use a high quality polypropylene tufted carpet which is
in filled with a graded round sand. This is a premier sand - which is specially chosen for its free-draining properties. As a result it does not clog in the wet.
Made in the UK, the quality of the carpet court is to the highest disciplines as well as the stringent controls imposed by BS5750 quality standards.
VERSATILE SURFACE
Apart from tennis, it provides an ideal surface for Soccer and Hockey. Netball can be played on it too, although the Netball Association does not accept this surface for match play.
Tenniturf - like all synthetic carpets - does need some attention. It needs to be brushed regularly and to be kept free of dirt. The Tennis lines, however, are tufted into the carpet and do not need to be remarked
