TENNITEX
Just what makes the Tennitex court such a universally popular surface with users in every sector of the sport - ranging from tennis clubs through to homeowners, educational establishments and beyond? The answer is in the way your Tennitex court is designed and constructed, the way we at Anglia and Midland take care of so many often overlooked yet vital details of court design and - above all - in the way it plays.
THE PLAYERS CHOICE
It is our Tennitex porous and coloured acrylic finish which helps to give your court such special playing characteristics. This material is spray-applied.
A special formulation of silica-based grip additive reduces the surface friction of the court in a controlled manner - whilst retaining a sound grip for play in the wet. A polyurethane variant of the Tennitex finish is recommended for intensive use.
In play, this speeds the passage of the ball but lowers the bounce - to give you a true, consistent and medium-paced surface which is ideally suited to a wide range of playing and coaching needs.
Playing lines are marked with matching materials to ensure consistency of footholds over the whole playing area.
A LONG-LIFE SURFACE
The unique Tennitex surface coating protects the macadam below it from ultraviolet degradation as well as from surface wear. Because of the very high specification of the base, drains and fence, no further works should be required.
